Kishahtek Lodge: Stay Connected
New Lodge Information:
On November 23rd, 2011, the great State of Michigan began a new era under the Area Project Crossroads recommendation.
The Michigan Coordinating Council was deployed to create new Field Service Councils throughout the State of Michigan.
The State of Michigan had nine councils. We now have four new councils.
This organizational change includes taking Great Sauk Trail Council (Ann Arbor) and the Southwest Michigan Council
(Kalamazoo) and joining them together to create the New Southern Shores Field Service Council. To find out more, please visit http://www.michiganscouting.org/southernshores.
This change also impacted the Order of the Arrow lodges of these two councils. Manitous 88 of Great Sauk Trail Council
and Nacha-Mawat 373 of Southwest Michigan Council joined together to create Kishahtek Lodge. Kishahtek can be translated to "Northern Lights." The totem of our new lodge is the Wolverine.
